For those of you who have faithfully checked our site since M was born, I’m sure you can tell that I’m back at work. I had the posts coming fast and furious while on daddy leave, but then, well, life got really busy again. But I’ve got to admit, I’m really enjoying my job right now. Teaching folks how to think and work differently using web 2.0 technologies is very satisfying (especially for the one or two students per class that actually walk away having “got it.”)

So here’s a ridiculous thought: while I’m too busy to get new content on to this site, how about I start another site?!?! I’m looking for you, our readership, to provide me with some feedback/sanity check on this idea. In the last few months, my personal interests about new web sites and technology has collided with my professional career. I’m thinking of launching a new blog called “mindyourtech.com” (yes, I’ve already registered the domain and set up the empty site). I would write in plain English about many sites and tools – some new, some quite old by web standards – and why/how I use them.

Why another tech blog? Well, what I’ve found is that most tech sites are geared toward geeks. People who have the time and passion to breathe tech 24/7. But that’s not you. Heck, that’s not me (anymore…). That’s where Mind Your Tech comes in. I intend to post articles that regular people can use:

• Web sites that you can use to make some task easier or more creative
• Ways to leverage new technologies for learning
• Sociological trends about the social web
• Psychological aspects of humans and technology

What do you think? Does this sound like something you (presumably a “normal” person) would read? C’mon, be honest…
