My new favorite Chanukah song

This week, we’ve been lighting the menorah (or hannukiah, if you prefer) in celebration of the Jewish holiday Chanukah. Doing so has been an inconsistent family tradition, hinging primarily on whether dad remembers to buy candles. A friend of mine who is learning Hebrew as part of his training with the Foreign Diplomatic Service sent along this incredible music video. It features a very talented a cappela group called the Maccabeats doing a rendition of Taio Cruz’ “Dynamite” (a favorite song of mine in its own right). See if this doesn’t bring as big a smile to your face as it did mine!

Grover…on a cow?!

This Sesame Street take on the “Old Spice guy” is absolutely perfect. I love the spoof and perfect blend of hilarity and learning content.
