Some of you may have noticed some rather odd messages sent out recently from “minimerlot” (the Twitter alter ego I set up for the baby). I figured an explanation was due…
When I first set up the account, I knew that I probably wouldn’t remember to go back and put in updates – at least, not on a regular enough basis. So I used twuffer.com (a “twitter buffer”) to set up messages to be sent out at regular intervals based on typical baby development timeline. Well, I put in some placeholders, too, for the approximate time when we’d be getting the sonogram.
Unfortunately, I forgot to go back and revise these with the specifics, so the generic placeholder text got sent out – right on time!
My bad…
Anyway, for those who get our site updates via email or RSS, take a moment and visit the site. I’ve added a “baby timeline” to the top of the site that shows our progress on a daily basis. It’s cute!
Oh, and I’m going to make it a priority to get some new posts up soon!
